Bucket of Crabs Mentality 🦀

I learned from a wise professor during my undergraduate studies that the "bucket of crabs mentality" in a business context often manifests as individuals or teams undermining each other’s success.

As a naïve 19-year-old, I didn't quite grasp what he meant at the time, but I now see how such a mentality not only hinders others' success but also keeps us stuck in cycles of negativity and stagnation.

I’m hopeful and committed to educating my community about breaking these mindsets because, after all, we don’t know what we don’t know.

This concept can be applied to various settings, including educational environments, community involvement, family dynamics, and social activism.

Reframing this mindset to a "collaborative success approach" helps foster a more supportive and progressive environment, benefiting everyone involved.
